The West Central Wireless family of companies values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what nonpublic personal information we collect; with whom we share nonpublic personal information; and how we protect and safeguard nonpublic personal information.
This Privacy Policy applies to customers of the West Central Wireless family of companies (“West Central”). This includes West Central Wireless, Right Wireless, and any of our other services or companies.
As part of providing cell phone, mobile internet, and similar services, we collect nonpublic personal information (“information”) about our customers. Information we collect includes your location; your phone number and phone identification number; phone numbers and identification numbers of those you call or message; the phone numbers of calls, texts, or messages you receive; web sites you visit, and your “click through” information; your email address; and the email addresses of those to whom you send emails. We also collect the content of your emails and messages, both incoming and outgoing. The more services you use, especially mobile Internet services, the more information (including location and similar information) we will collect about you.
We also collect information about you based on your financial relationship with us. This includes your contact information, such as your name, address, telephone number, and email address; your billing information, such as your bank and credit-card information; your billing, payment, and credit history with us; the services you use with us or through us; your Social Security number; and your user names, passwords, and security codes to access various services with us.
Finally, we collect technical information from devices or equipment you use to access our networks, and those you contact through our networks.
We collect information three main ways. First, we collect information from you when you contract to use our services, when you interact with us to use our services, or contact us about a product or service we offer. Second, we collect information automatically when you visit our websites or use our products and services. Third, we collect from third parties, such as credit agencies.
We also may collect information by placing a “cookie” or “web beacon,” or tracking file, on devices you use to access our networks or services, including the Internet. These “cookies” or “web beacons” track you as you move across the Internet, and provide information about sites you visit, searches, and other data. While your web browser or Flash player may allow you to refuse cookies, you may not be able to access some functions of our services or web sites unless you allow cookies.
We also may receive information from third-party marketing companies that provide us with marketing leads to market our services to current or new customers.
Third-party service providers with whom we contract to provide services may also give us technical and personal information.
We use the information we collect for four main purposes:
1. To deliver, provide and repair our products and services, including phone, internet, and messaging capabilities;
2. To provide you with credit and billing, and the ability to pay and access your account online;
3. To improve our network, services, products, or websites; and
4. To market to you additional products and services we offer, or that our partners offer.
The information we provide on you to third parties is as needed to provide you services, including emergency services; to analyze data; to improve our network and services; to enforce our agreements with you or third parties; to obtain payment from you, from third parties, or to bill you for products and services; and to market additional services to you. We also use information we collect to enable thirdparty servicers to process payments and financial information from you
We may share your information with our subsidiaries and affiliated companies, service providers, and third parties to market to you and provide you with current or additional services. We require all third parties to agree to respect the privacy of your information.
We use information from “cookies” placed on your computer or devices to personalize your experience on our web sites. These “cookies” also may store your login information (username and password).
We may use information from you for legally compelled disclosures. This may include providing information to governmental authorities; to third parties as required by legal process, such as a court order or subpoena; and to regulatory agencies. We may disclose your information if necessary to protect you, a third party, or property. We also may use information to investigate or prevent illegal activities, or activities that violate our policies, and to provide directory and routing information.
At times, we contract with third-party ad servers to provide ads to our customers. These companies may have access to some, but not all, of your information; for example, they will not have access to your name, Social Security number, or username or password information.
You may opt out of our sharing of your personal information by using the “contact us” link on this web site, or by emailing us at Info@wcc.net. You also may email us at info@wcc.net to correct your information.
We employ industry-standard security processes for similar companies our size to protect your privacy. This may include hardware and software solutions. We also request that any third party to which we provide any information agree to employ security processes at least as stringent as ours, and to use any information we provide them only consistent with this policy and our agreements with them.
The Internet, wireless communication, and collection of information have inherent risks. Those risks include interception during transmission; theft of data at the source; theft of data from us; and theft of data from those with whom we share information. We will take industry-standard, reasonable steps to safeguard your information.
Regarding children under age 13: We do not knowingly collect any information regarding children under the age of 13 without parent or guardian permission. If a customer provides a phone or other device that accesses or uses our network or services, we will collect the same information as stated elsewhere in this policy. Providing a device or allowing access to our network or services constitutes permission for us to collect such information.
